- Editor in Chief of CJSCF receives her/his 3 year renewable term mandate from the Executive Committee of the Canadian Centre for Scholarship and the Christian Faith.
- Editor in Chief of CJSCF is accountable to the Executive Committee of the CCSCF.
- Editor in Chief of CJSCF is charged to maintain the webpage of the journal.
- Editor in Chief of CJSCF is charged to maintain the standards and protocols of the journal in relation to Guidelines for Submission and Guidelines for Reviewers.
- Editor in Chief of CJSCF is charged to maintain the standards and composition of the Editorial Advisory Committee.
- Editor in Chief of CJSCF has an executive mandate to secure specific scholars from various disciplines for the purpose of reviewing article submissions as per Guidelines for Submissions 4.2
- Editor in Chief of CJSCF may publish editorials for the journal with two successful peer reviews.
